Kiko is a dark horse in the beauty world, I think this time next year they will be a brand who will be soaring through the roofs. A couple years ago I thought Inglot had the same prospects but they seemed to die out for me. Fingers crossed Kiko keep providing the goods, they haven’t failed as of yet…
I was browsing through Westfield Stratford and walked into the Kiko store and laid my eyes on their limited edition eye shadow palettes. The ideologies behind these palettes were that they’re designed for specific eye colours. Reminds me a lot of Charlotte Tilbury’s line where she’s designed a range that has shades for specific eye colours to make them pop. Anywho, each palette is priced at £13.90 and is called the ‘Colour Fever’ range.
I brought 101 Coral Burgundy, designed for green or brown eyes and 102 Jungle Green Variations, which is ideal for light or dark brown eyes. I have dark brown eyes, but the colours in 101 were too pretty I just had to have it.
Without even swatching it, you can see the prettiness of it, they’re so silky smooth and intensely pigmented! They apply like a dream. I’ve only tried the 102 and still have to play around with 101.
All shades are of a shimmery texture, personally I would’ve liked one matte shade but that’s just my personal preference. I absolutely adore these palettes and think they completely match up to the quality of the high end brands e.g Urban Decay.
It is a limited edition and a stunning one at that! I would get down to Kiko store ASAP!
Have you tried anything from Kiko you love? Do let me know…
