This is the prettiest garden you will ever go to, also the most expensive and an overrated one. Priced at 70dh for entrance into the Jardin Majorelle and an additional 30dh for entrance into the museum, which is based on berbers, it has nothing to do with the actual YSL. The museum is filled with plants from all over the world and is deceivingly small – with small ponds and fountains so sit buy and take in all the beauty it has to offer. Even though it’s overpriced in my opinion, I would still highly recommend it, mainly for all the instagram shots you can get inside. I unintentionally ended up matching the walls! This post is basically an ode to all the photos I took there! The cafe in the garden is cute but overly priced – however I did go and eat there, mainly because I wanted to experience what the offering was like in the Jardine Majorelle (imagine me saying that in a super cool french accent) and if you ever get the chance to go there avoid having the club sandwich, 125dh for a cold tasteless bagel. Instead opt for a tagine or a salad, the wise people setting on the table next to me ordered what looked/sounded like a delicious tagine, whilst I stared miserably at my cold sandwich. I have no idea why I thought a club sandwich was a good idea, but there you go!
The dress worn is an old Warehouse dress, designed as a midi but fits as a maxi on me, beautiful print and material, literally went on sale a month after I brought it so I was gutted – some Warehouse stores may still have this in the sale section – but currently sold out online.
To get to the Jardin Majorelle we got a yellow taxi from the old town square and it was approx 30dh – however we did have a couple taxis who tried to charge us 75dh. Always negotiate price before you get into a taxi!
You’ll spend about 30mins – 1hr and 30mins, longer if you decide to just sit and relax.
So frilled shirts are a thing this A/W season and I couldn’t be happier. I picked up this shirt from H&M – white with frills and the fit is actually really flattering. There are a lot of variations of these shirts, Topshop, NewLook, Zara, they’re all doing them! The trousers are an ASOS sale purchase, unfortunately all sold out currently but these do seem to be quite timeless all year round. Cigarette trousers which cut at the ankle are the most flattering as they make your legs look longer and slimmer. I wore this outfit to work the other day and at first look when leaving the house I had a split second thought ‘is this too much’ and normally if you think that then the answer is probably yes. However I went with my gut and I’m glad because it was comfortable and attracted lots of attention. I saw on instagram somewhere that theres only 11 Mondays left till Christmas – that is mental! How quick has this year gone! I’m also looking at holidays for next year and thinking Sri Lanka…? It seems like the hot spot for beach and cultural holidays so if anyone has gone and has tips do let me know.
This is by far my favourite outfit of all time. Dungarees have without a doubt been my most worn item in my wardrobe – I actually need to find another pair because these were from Topshop brought a year ago and the colour is starting to fade, clear indications of a well loved outfit. They’re just so easy to put together and it’s my weekend go-to choice, without having to think too much about what I want to wear. The white frill top is from H&M and a real bargain for £9.99 – the top provides a little bit of a delicate feel. The sleeves are my favourite part of the outfit. Can we also take a minute to talk about the sunglasses. They’re dupes of glasses that Henry Holland had a while back and I adore how statement they are, these were from Ebay and pretty much look like the real thing. Now I’m not an advocate of ‘rip-off’ things because I feel like its a slap in the face of the designers – however my struggling student self just simply couldn’t afford it at the time. I’m actually looking to buy a new pair of sunnies because I’ve fallen out of love of the ones I have – any suggestions send them my way! I spent most of my day afternoon yesterday roaming Covent Garden – I realised that the walk from Covent Garden to bank is really not that far – we did it within 30mins and it was actually a really lovely walk. Being an avid Architecture fan I was very easily amused by the old buildings. Zara Croc print bag with the embellishment looks far more pricier than what it was – I’ve decided that gold hardware is my favourite type on bags – which has helped me narrow my 30th birthday present down.

I foresee two new trends for AutumnI, camis and pyjama style shirts. I love the way night clothing is transitioning into day-time appropriate wear. Cami’s are huge at the moment – normally these were seen as an under garment but now they’re worn on their own. I picked up this velvet lace cami from Bershka and I absolutely adore the colour. Summer days are now very limited so wearing a cami on it’s own probably isn’t the smartest of ideas, so I’ve paired this with my favourite pyjama shirt from New Look. I love the way this shirt fits and looks casual as well as being formally appropriate. I’ve seen velvet and satin camp’s all over the highstreet. These Topshop Hayden jeans are 4 years old and they’re probably not even available anymore. But the more I wear them the better they age and they give the entire outfit a ‘weekend’ vibe. My mum just fails to understand ripped jeans, intact she loathes them so much that she refuses to see me in ripped jeans.
Chokers and layering jewellery is something I struggle to do – it just seems like so much effort however when you have cute jewellery it helps! Topshop have some of the nicest (and overpriced) stuff. I always browse the jewellery section when there’s a sale. The metallic laser cut Nike Thea’s were a real steal from Office – I think they were put in the sale by accident because a week later they were back on for full price! Definitely not gym wear but they jazz up the entire outfit. This little ensemble is now my current fave! Last official weekend off just before I start work – so the next few outfit posts are most likely going to be work-related outfits. I also filmed a little look-book on YouTube which will be coming this Sunday…
I’ve mentioned before that Pyjama shirts are my favourite things to wear at the moment. However when someone actually said ‘oh, I really like your pyjama’s’ I felt slightly offended. I always thought it was more of a put-together look as opposed to ‘I just woke up like this…’ This shirt is from New Look, only brought a couple of weeks ago so probably in store. The shirt I can see myself wearing for quite a few months, I love the fit, the material and in general how it looks when worn. These Topshop Gold Pleated trousers on the other hand are a bit of a FAD buy and one that I’m trying to wear on daily basis so I get the most out of them. They’re actually quite see-through so tucking in the shirt was literally only done for the purpose of this photo. Metallic and pleats is a combination that I’m really into the past couple months and now I’m on the hunt for a yellow toned gold metallic skirt – there was one on sale at H & M but all sold out online and I have yet to locate it in stores.
Also I wanted to take this moment to address sliders, how have they become so popular? I absolutely loathe them and bearing in mind everytime I make a comment as such I end up buying the said items. Well not this time, I can assure you now that I will not be buying sliders
anytime soon, especially not the fluffy pink puma ones. They don’t even appear to be remotely comfortable and they look hideous on. I am team Birkenstocks all the way – I’ve seen an all black pair for £129 which in all fairness is probably way too much to pay for a pair of sandals hence why I don’t own them yet – but they look so good!
If you’re ever about in London, keep an eye out for the mews, these are old stables/warehouses which have been refurbished and made into little apartments that have a ‘holiday home’ vibe. I literally spent my day strolling around the back roads of Oxford Street all the way through to Marble Arch and there are some really pretty mews, they’re also perfect ‘ootd’ backdrops. This linen dress was an absolute bargain from New Look, I found it in the sale for £12. The benefits of living, what feels like, the middle of nowhere is that you end up finding some awesome stuff in the sales, I found a couple other bits in H&M in the sale – all my purchases are normally hauled on Snapchat as soon as I get them (beautclassyfied) The nude gladiator sandals are from Zara – purchased last year and I remember these being awfully painful however I feel like I’ve broken into them as 6hours of strolling around and they’re now quite comfortable. Also, is it possible to loose weight on your foot? If so, I feel like it’s happened to me.
This Mulberry bag is the only bag I’ve been wearing these days, very pleased with my younger 20′s self for picking this one up. Although I do have my eye on the YSL Sac De Jour or Gucci Dionysys – which one out of the two though? Gucci feels like a trend purchase, similar to what the Chloe and Celine were a year ago and the Sac De Jour seems like a safer bet as it’s more of a classic bag. And I’ve thought the GG sign on the bag is, slightly tacky? But I’m starting to really warm up to it…ahhh #firstworldproblems. I have a couple months to decide so I’m hoping within that time I’ve decided – your opinions wouldn’t go a miss though…

It would be an understatement to say that I’ve been obsessed with the pyjama shirt trend, it feels very relaxed whilst maintaining a ‘put together’ look. I’ve seen a few in River Island, this little number is from New Look and the black piping makes it stand out. I had a dentist appointment today and I detest the dentist. Probably still traumatised from my experience as a teenager. However I now need to go back and have 2 fillings – which I’m not looking forward to! So I thought I would treat myself and go into London and visit Notting Hill gate before it gets busy before the carnival. I went into Notting Hill Gate and browsed the streets like a tourist. Kitchen and Pantry looked amazing but didn’t get a chance to go in for lunch – Biscuiteers had the cutest interior. Whenever I go into central London it makes me love the city more!
If you follow me on Snapchat (beautclassyfied) I’ve show cased these shoes already, as well as all the other purchases I’ve been making. The hot pink Topshop shoes are called Karter Loaders and they come in a range of colours but I had to get these metallic pink leather ones and they are AMAZING. An obvious dupe of the Gucci shoes but at a fraction of the price – whats not to love? Extremely comfortable too, I had to size down with these. There’s also a mint pair which I have my eye one, can I really justify buying two shoes of the same style? I need to find black denim jeans which actually fit well, these Leigh Jeans from Topshop have served me well for a couple of years, these ones are starting to feel loose and the colour is also starting to fade away. Any jean suggestions send them my way…
